Three people were taken into custody after a gun was reported at the Melfort Fair on the weekend, but charges have only be laid against one person.

Melfort RCMP say a 15 year old boy from the Tisdale area is facing nine charges most of which are weapons-related. The firearm in this incident, according to police, was an imitation gun.

When police were called they were told a gun had been spotted and that there was an altercation that took place between a man and three women at the Melfort Fair on Friday evening around 8 o’clock.
