An early morning chase of a stolen car has led to charges against two Saskatoon residents.
City Police say the canine unit saw the vehicle at about 3:15 this morning around 25th Street East and 33rd Avenue North and soon found out the 2007 Chevy Monte Carlo had been used in an armed robbery.
It ended up in the ditch in heavy bush along Highway 16 East near the cloverleaf overpass after a spike belt was laid down..
The 32 year old man and 26 year old women were arrested while trying to run away into the brush. Both are charged with breach of probation. The man is also charged with possession of stolen property.
