A 28 year old Regina man is facing charges after an incident yesterday morning in which a Regina Police member discharged a taser in an arrest.
Just before 6:30, Regina Police received a call that a man was causing issues at a home in the 400 block of Alexandra Street.
Police then responded and located the man outside of the home.
The officers tried to calm the man down however the man ignored the officers and man threw an object at the officers and became physical.
One officer then deployed their taser.
As a result the man was arrested and charged.
28 year old Joshua Lavallee is charged with breach of conditional sentence order and assaulting a peace officer.
Lavallee will appear in court tomorrow.
