Prince Albert Police say that a death in an alley in that city last month was a homicide. An autopsy has confirmed the homicide. On June 28th, officers responded to a shooting in the alley on the 200 block of 9th Street East. 28 year old Tyrell Bird was shot in the face. He was taken to local hospital in critical condition and then transferred to Saskatoon where he died a few days later. This is the first homicide in Prince Albert this year. No arrests have been made. It remains an active investigation.
