Pelican Narrows RCMP are investigating two serious assaults that occurred in Pelican Narrows on Saturday on the same street.
Around 7:50 a.m. RCMP received a report that an injured teenager was located on the roadway in front of a residence on Wood Crescent. The teen had been taken to hospital by EMS with serious injuries.
Officers conducted patrols and witness interviews but have not identified any suspects.
Around 9:35 p.m. Pelican Narrows responded to an report an injured adult male on the roadway in front of a different residence on Wood Crescent. Officers administered first aid; EMS responded and transported the male to hospital again with serious injuries.
RCMP say their investigators are working to determine if these two assaults are related and are asking Pelican Narrows residents for their help. Specifically, investigators would like residents who live on Wood Crescent to check their doorbell cameras and surveillance cameras for suspicious activity between the hours of 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturday, October 3rd.
Anyone with information about either incident is asked to report it to Pelican Narrows RCMP by calling 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers. As well, residents of Pelican Narrows can expect to see a continued increased police presence.
