Natasha Cochran a teacher at Willow Park Colony School, located about 70 kilometres southwest of Saskatoon has been recognized with the Prime Minister’s Award, Certificate of Excellence. She teaches all subjects from kindergarten to Grade 9 at her rural Hutterite colony school.
The Prime Minister’s Award Certificate of Achievement was given to two Saskatchewan teachers: Amanda Jobb and Marylee Morrison-Lees. Jobb is a Cree language teacher at St. Francis School in Saskatoon who teaches Grade 2 students Cree Language, Land-Based Learning, Math, Social Studies, Science, Arts, and Health. Morrison-Lees, on Whitebear First Nation in southeast Saskatchewan, teaches Grades 9 to 12 in English Language Arts, Native Studies, Psychology.
And a Certificate of Achievement was awarded for Excellence in Early Childhood Learning to Mayranush Harutyunyan with Maggie’s Early Learning Centre in Saskatoon. She cares for and works with children from infancy to preschool.
