Rose Valley RCMP are continuing to search for 29-year-old Rylance Quewezance (pictured) of Saskatoon, who is wanted in connection with a shooting and robbery on Yellow Quill First Nation on June 20.

A Saskatchewan RCMP news release says he is known to frequent the Airdrie, Alberta, and Yellow Quill First Nation areas. The public is being asked not to approach him and to contact police with any information.

RCMP allege a group approached two men walking on Yellow Quill First Nation on June 20, robbed them with a firearm, and discharged the weapon, injuring one of the victims.

The injured man suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated in hospital. As a result of the investigation, Kynan Desjarlais, Damon Nippi and Quewezance were charged with various offences, including robbery with a firearm.

Desjarlais faces numerous additional firearms-related charges, while Nippi is also charged with breaching release conditions.

Desjarlais and Nippi, are scheduled to appear in Rose Valley court on October 7.
