The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 100 block of 109th St on Friday.

The homeowner reported seeing smoke coming from an electrical outlet on the outside of the home at 4:51 pm.

When crews arrived, they could see smoke coming from the side of house before opening the area up and completely extinguishing the fire.

A fire investigator is on scene to conduct an examination to identify the cause, origin and damage estimate.
