Regina Public School Division is reporting a loss of nearly $4,000 between last September and April of this year. In a losses report to the government, the board says a caretaker at an elementary school had been leaving the school early on a frequent basis without reporting it. A review of the records was conducted to determine the hours for which the caretaker didn’t work but was paid. The board says the employee was disciplined and recover efforts continue. A police report was also filed.
