A caller to the newsroom is reporting quite the scene on Highway 16 heading to Clavet.

There is a vehicle on fire in the eastbound lane just before the west turnoff into town.

There are currently about six emergency vehicles including a fire truck on scene.

Highway traffic is backed up significantly, and those first on scene are trying to move debris out of the roadway. An update will be provided when available.
