A stabbing that took place in Prince Albert is under investiagtion.

The Prince Albert Police Service says the incident occurred at a home in the 900 block of 17th Street West on August 10 around 9:00 p.m..

Upon arrival, officers found the male victim and he was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Through the investigation, police learned that an unknown female entered the home and stabbed the victim multiple times. The female then left the building on foot.

The suspect is described as five feet three inches tall, with a heavier build, a fair complexion, and last seen wearing all black clothing.

The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival and attempts to locate her was unsuccessful. The Prince Albert Police Service is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, observed a female matching this description in the area, or has information that may assist in identifying the suspect to contact police.
