One person is dead following a small plane crash in the RM of Marriott, northwest of Rosetown.
Rosetown RCMP said officers received a report of the crash at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 25.
The sole occupant of the aircraft, an adult man, was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
His family has been notified.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada and Saskatchewan Coroners Service have been engaged and are investigating the incident.
The TSB had announced Tuesday afternoon that investigators were being deployed to the Rosetown area following a small aircraft occurrence.
RCMP said it is not the primary investigating agency and has no further information to release at this time.
The cause of the crash and circumstances leading up to it have not been released.
Anyone with information about the incident is being asked to contact the Transportation Safety Board of Canada.
The investigation remains ongoing.
