Sandy Bay RCMP have arrested a wanted man who was smashing vehicle windows, including a police vehicle outside the Sandy Bay detachment.

On Saturday at 9:55 p.m., officers heard loud banging coming from outside their detachment.

In the parking lot, officers watched a man smash the windows of a police vehicle with a metal bar.

Further police investigation determined the male was involved in a separate incident in Sandy Bay earlier that evening, during which the windows of another vehicle were damaged.

Now, 35-year-old Manny Bear, from Sandy Bay, is facing seven charges. He appeared in court on Monday.
