Wanuskewin Heritage Park recently announced that Jenaya Chutskoff is the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Jenaya is taking on the role as the organization reaches its final milestones in the pursuit of UNESCO World Heritage Site designation.
Jenaya has worked for Wanuskewin for over a decade overseeing finance, in human resources, government relations, capital and administrative projects, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site designation process.
Wanuskewin’s mission is to be a place of cultural celebration, education, conservation, and reconciliation of the Northern Plains Indigenous peoples for generations to come. The organization does this by preserving, interpreting, and sharing the stories within the landscape.
As CEO, Jenaya will work with the Board, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, staff, donors, community partners, governments, and supporters to further Wanuskewin’s mission.
Wanuskewin’s Board of Directors said in a news release that they have confidence in Jenaya and her leadership.
