Three men reported missing by La Ronge RCMP on Wednesday have been located.
Earlier in the week, officers received a report of three missing men 49-year-old Roderick Bird, 67-year-old Emil Ratt, and 48-year-old Ricky McKenzie. The three men were on a planned foraging trip, traveling on foot.
They were last reported to be on Highway #165 near Jayjay Lake.
After being missing for over 24 hours, they were spotted early Friday morning by an RCMP plane in a remote muskeg area in the Jayjay Lake area.
A Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) helicopter was then used to pick up them up, and they are not believed to have any serious injuries.
