A man wanted in connection to an alleged kidnapping in the Loon Lake area on Monday has been arrested.

Thirty-one-year-old Kevin Ross Watt was in court Wednesday charged with one count of kidnapping with a firearm and one count of fail to comply with undertaking condition. He was remanded in custody and is back in Lloydminster Provincial Court Thursday.

Police say the victim was reportedly taken from a home near Makwa Lake around 12:45 a.m. on July 13. She was later located safe.
