Two men were taken to hospital after a shooting in Melfort on Tuesday.

At 12:20 a.m. police were called to 1st Avenue South in Melfort. They learned that an altercation occurred between a group of people during which a firearm was discharged and two men were injured.
One of them has serious injuries and the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Melfort RCMP continue to investigate, and anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
