Much to the dismay of Saskatoon motorists, the heavy rainfall and weather events throughout the month of June is delaying construction on College Drive.  

The City of Saskatoon says opening the University Bridge and College Drive corridor to two lanes of traffic, one lane in each direction, is now expected in mid- to late July, weather permitting, of course.   

Emergency services vehicle access to the hospitals will be maintained across University Bridge throughout construction. Pedestrian access also remains in place. 

The City is continuing to work with the contractor to finalize plans for upcoming stages of construction along College Drive. Additional information will be shared as details are confirmed.
