A second person has been charged in connection to Saskatoon’s fourth homicide of 2026. A 21-year-old woman was arrested at Pinegrove Correctional Centre on Wednesday in connection to the death of a 39-year-old man who was located injured and unresponsive in the 500 block of Avenue X South on April 9th.
On Tuesday a 27-year-old man was also arrested in connection to the homicide. He was arrested at the Saskatoon Correctional Centre.
Both suspects are charged with aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon and uttering threats. The male is also facing multiple weapons charges as well as manslaughter and unlawful confinement.
The Major Crimes Unit investigation is ongoing.
