Country Radio Hall of Famer and longtime Grand Ole Opry announcer Bill Cody has passed away at 67.
His family recently shared that he was battling heart and kidney failure and needed a double transplant.
His son thanked fans for their prayers, saying they feel peace knowing “one day we will understand why God chose to still take him.”

Billy Ray Cyrus is opening up about a serious health scare that nearly took his life.
He says he battled vocal paralysis in 2024 after a near-fatal case of sepsis, spending time in the hospital and praying for a miracle.
Billy Ray says he eventually felt he was healed, and credits his daughter Noah’s song “Don’t Put It All on Me” and his young grandson’s words to “try again” for helping him through the darkest moments.
