The province’s homicide investigation unit has charged a 30-year-old man with manslaughter following a homicide on Saulteaux First Nation.

On Friday at 4:00 a.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report of an injured man at a home on Saulteaux First Nation.

He was declared dead at the scene by EMS shortly after. He has been identified as 53-year-old Leonard Moccasin.

Bradley Redbear was arrested at the scene. He is scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court Monday.
