With the wildfire evacuation order lifted for the Rural Municipality Shellbrook, the Saskatchewan Health Authority has started the process of returning patients to the communities.

Fifty-three patients and residents were moved Friday evening from the Parkland Integrated Health Centre in Shellbrook to other medical facilities as a precaution. They were transferred to Prince Albert, Melfort, Tisdale, Porcupine Plain and Unity.

All of the transfers back to Shellbrook should be completed by Wednesday.
