The city of Prince Albert has unveiled an installation of four new transit shelter art designs.
Prince Albert Mayor Bill Powalinsky says these are vibrant works. He says there were 21 submissions from 10 artists and following the selection process four designs were chosen titled River of Reflection, Convergence, More than a Wish, and Building Relationship.
In a news release the City of Prince Albert says the art doesn’t just enhance the transit user experience but provides meaningful public art that emphasizes the importance of relationships and community connection.
The art installations are located in front of Saskatchewan Polytechnic, at Carlton High School, 2nd Avenue and 34th Street West and on 15th Street East in front of RBC.
