Consort, Alberta RCMP arrested and charged a Kindersley man for a break and enter, who had outstanding warrants from Saskatchewan.
On May 4th, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Consort RCMP received information there was a male, a dog, and a truck, in a business location near Township Road 364 and Range Road 74, where no one was reportedly to be.
While Consort RCMP were responding, a truck, male and dog were observed matching the description of the suspect male and vehicle. Consort RCMP initiated a traffic stop and the subsequent police investigation led to the male being arrested for break and enter.
Further investigation revealed the suspect had a Canada wide driving prohibition, outstanding warrants from Saskatchewan, and was on numerous release conditions.
Thirty year old Jeffrey Joseph Proteau, a resident of Kindersley and a Medicine Hat resident are facing numerous charges including Break and Enter of a non residential building, Mischief and Driving While Prohibited.
Proteau was remanded into custody andwill be transported back to Saskatchewan to face his outstanding charges here.
