Saskatchewan RCMP arrested Blaine Keenatch on Tuesday on Big River First Nation. He was to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Wednesday.
RCMP had previously issued a news release that indicated Keenatch may have been injured in an altercation April 20th after he allegedly point a gun at a woman and fired.
Two people helped the woman and the suspect fled. Keenatch is facing seven charges.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team, Meadow Lake Crime Reduction Team, Police Dog Services and Big River Detachment assisted with this arrest.
