There was a water rescue last night on the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon.
The Saskatoon Fire Department was called at 8:16 p.m. Fire crews launched a rescue boat north of the Broadway Bridge.
Crews on the boat were helped by the Saskatoon Police Service who provided direction from the bridge in coordination from the shore so they could locate the person in the water.
The patient was rescue and taken to shore then transferred to the care of MD Ambulance West. No other details were provided.
