Riley Green had to switch up a lyric mid-performance in Nashville after getting booed by a Tennessee Volunteers-heavy crowd.
While singing “Hell of a Way to Go,” he joked it’s only the second time he’s ever done it—after originally referencing Alabama beating Tennessee.
He quickly changed it on the fly, flipping the line to get a much louder cheer from the hometown crowd.
