A 30-year-old man was shot and a 33-year-old woman was assaulted in a residence on the 800 block of 4th Street East.
Prince Albert Police report receiving a call around 3:55am on Tuesday about unknown persons who had entered the residence. The man remains in stable condition in Victoria Hospital.
No arrests have been made and the investigation continues. The Prince Albert Police Service is asking residents in the area to review any available home surveillance or doorbell camera footage for suspicious activity.
