The Prince Albert Police Service says their officers responded to a report of a stabbing at a home in the 700 block of 17th Street West.

The call came in at 8:45 p.m. Thursday and when officers arrived they found three people with serious injuries.

Police are advising area residents and the public that there will be an increased police presence throughout the day Friday.

The victims are in Victoria Hospital in stable condition and while no arrests have been made at this time it is believed the suspects and victims are known to each other and this was not a random event.
