A rollover in northeast Saskatchewan on Tuesday, March 24th eventually led to drug and weapons charges being laid against a 45-year-old woman.
RCMP says the rollover occurred near Codette—not far from Nipawin. A man in the vehicle left the scene, while a woman was there when officers arrived.
RCMP report finding a sawed-off firearm, loaded handgun, ammunition, 14 grams of methamphetamine, 15 grams of fentanyl and 149 unknown pharmaceutical-style pills in the vehicle.
Genevieve McKay will appear in Nipawin Provincial Court next week. RCMP are working to identify the man who left the scene of the rollover.
