A 31-year-old man now faces a long list of charges in connection to the Monday evening shooting incident in the 600 block of Avenue I South.
According to a Saskatoon Police Service news release, officers on regular patrol located and arrested the male suspect at about 4 a.m. Wednesday morning in a parking lot in the 1700 block of 20th Street West. A 31-year-old male victim was taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries from the shooting, which happened in a garage in the 600 block of Avenue I South at about 6:50 p.m. on March 23. The suspect has been charged with discharging a firearm, two counts of pointing a firearm, armed robbery, aggravated assault and four counts of possessing a firearm while prohibited.
