If you’ve seen online content of former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau endorsing an online investment platform called Eightcap, it is a new impersonation scam.

The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan is warning investors of the scam, which claims the former Prime Minister is endorsing the investment platform Eightcap.

The platform claims to offer Saskatchewan residents trading opportunities including stocks, cryptocurrencies, commodities, forex, and indices all through contracts for difference (CFDS).

This alert applies only to the online entity using the websites “eightcap com” and “area.eight-cap net” if you’ve invested with either of these platforms, contact the FCAAs securities division.
