This I’ll be very curious to see what the latest CRISP report shows in the next few weeks. The amount of people we’ve seen in our own workplace as well as friends and family that have come down with some kind of bug is quite extreme, and it seems to be an extreme form of the bug with people saying they haven’t felt this sick in years. All I know is that the sanitization we started doing in COVID-19 is something we tried to maintain because we share a lot of equipment like microphones and keyboards. The CRISP report from Friday showed COVID-19 test positivity was down significantly, by 2 per cent. RSV is down and influenza is staying the course. Maybe this is the flu everyone is getting and if it is the flu then it’s a nasty one. And I don’t think this crazy swing in the weather is helping. Think about it – 30 in Prince Albert Monday morning, in the -20’s for Saskatoon but it will be +8 in Saskatoon Tuesday……that’s about a 30-degree swing in temperature. All I know is take care out there, practice good hygiene, and we will all see spring soon.
