The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating the city’s second homicide of the year.

At around 12:30 this morning, police responded to a shooting in the 900 block of 22nd Street West.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section is now investigating.
