No one was injured in a garage fire even with a power pole catching fire.

The call came in at 3:34 a.m. Thursday from the 1300 block of 23rd Street West.

Firefighters could see smoke and flames coming from a detached garage when they rolled up.

The fire extended to a nearby power pole causing a power line to fall and arc.

There was a vehicle in the garage at the time of the fire which has been completely extinguished. Saskatoon Light and Power was called to repair the fallen power line.
