Battlefords RCMP has received a report of a potentially hazardous, consumable liquid beverage/substance that is circulating and is warning the public in the Battlefords Detachment area.

The detachment is investigating multiple sudden deaths that have been reported in the area in the past week; however, they caution that RCMP, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, are in the preliminary stages of determining whether or not the sudden deaths are related to this report. Families are being notified.

No specific details are available, but the public is advised not to consume any unknown liquid beverages or substances.
