It’s been a couple of weeks, but Rosetown RCMP are asking the public for any dash cam or surveillance video that might have captured the theft of a custom barbecue trailer (pictured) from the Hamlet of Fiske, approximately mid-way between Rosetown and Kindersley on Highway #7.
A Saskatchewan RCMP news release says the Rosetown detachment received the report of the theft on February 18 with further investigation determining that, the day before, a male suspect hooked his vehicle up to the trailer and drove off with it. A surveillance camera showed the vehicle to be a red G-M-C or Chevrolet half-ton pickup (pictured below) with a silver rear bumper and black mudflaps and seen leaving Fiske with the barbecue trailer. It is custom built with white rims, a black barbecue, two propane tanks, red and white reflective stickers around it and no license plate. Anyone who has seen the suspect truck or knows where the trailer might be is asked to report it to Rosetown RCMP or by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
