And he predicts looking ahead that markets will begin reacting to this weekend’s U.S.-Iran attacks. He suggests the risk of broader instability means fresh uncertainty in the energy markets and gasoline prices will likely face continued upward pressure.
In Saskatoon average retail gasoline prices in Saskatoon have risen 12.5 c/L in the past week, averaging 134.58 c/L yesterday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 81 gas outlets in Saskatoon. This compares with the national average that has increased 2.5 c/L in the last week to 134.11 c/L, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.
