One person was found dead following a call to a fire in the 1300 block of Wascana Street in Regina at 5:19 am this morning (SUNDAY).
Regina Fire and Protective Services crews discovered the deceased occupant during a search of the premises.
The fire has been extinguished and no other deaths or injuries were identified.
Regina Fire and Protective Services, the Regina Police Service and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are conducting a joint investigation to determine the cause and details surrounding the fire and casualty.
