The Sask NDP has announced that leader Carla Beck is bringing on an experienced healthcare researcher for the party’s ongoing YourCareYourSay.ca project.
Cheryl Camillo was officially named Lead Researcher for the project on Thursday. She will work directly with Beck and the NDP Health Shadow Ministers to deliver recommendations for improving healthcare, which have come directly from workers, patients, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
Camillo is a retired Associate Professor at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Regina. She specializes in health and social policy.
The top priority of Camillo’s initial research work has been on improving primary care and delivering it in communities of all sizes across the province.
YourCareYourSay.ca is open for Saskatchewan residents to provide their input on the future of healthcare.
