The Saskatoon Police Service say two women were arrested this morning and more than 5 kilograms of methamphetamine was seized.
Around 1:30 a.m. Thursday members of the Crime Reduction Team, assisted by Patrol officers, conducted a traffic stop near 33rd Street West and Neault Road.
Two women, age 48 and 49 were arrested in what police say was a drug trafficking investigation.
Following a search of the vehicle, police seized 5.082 kilograms of meth, 1 gram of crack cocaine, $600 in Canadian currency, scales and cell phones.
The two women have been charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000.
