A 36-year-old Regina man was charged by Punnichy RCMP in relation to a fire at a residence on George Gordon First Nation.
On Sunday at around 6:45 am, police responded to the fire, along with local fire services. No injuries were reported to police, and the house was heavily damaged.
Then, at around 12:45 pm, RCMP received reports of a man walking around with a firearm on George Gordon First Nation. They responded and arrested the man.
As a result of an investigation, Myles Anderson is facing a handful of charges, including arson, break and enter to steal a firearm, and theft under $5000, among others.
Anderson appeared in Punnichy Provincial Court yesterday.
