The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 100 block of Avenue V South overnight.

The call came in at 12:22 a.m. and firefighters could see smoke and flames coming from the single-family house. While the home appeared to be boarded up the fire crew received multiple reports that there could be up to three people living inside who were unaccounted for.

Firefighters forced entry into the house and confirmed no one remained inside while putting out the fire at the same time. No one was hurt and the fire is under investigation.
