The Prince Albert Police Service says one man has been arrested and faces multiple assault with a weapon related charges following an incident involving bear spray at a Prince Albert shopping centre.
On Sunday around 2:20 p.m. officers responded to a report of a man wanted on an outstanding warrant at a shopping centre in the 1400 block of Central Avenue.
Officers located the suspect who fled on foot and in the same time frame another call for service indicated bear spray had been discharged inside the shopping centre.
RCMP were on scene and assisted in locating the suspect and RCMP officers deployed a CEW to successfully take the suspect into custody.
A 19-year-old man was in Prince Albert Provincial Court facing three counts of assault with a weapon.
