There was a garage fire in Saskatoon’s Riversdale neighbourhood early Friday morning.

The Saskatoon Fire Department got the call at 4:32 a.m. and arriving firefighters could see flames and smoke coming from a detached garage.

While one crew poured water on the fire another crew went inside to make sure there were no occupants left in the structure.

Everyone got out safe and there were no injuries to civilians or firefighters. A fire investigator will identify the cause, origin and damage estimate.
