Saskatchewan is dealing with both freezing rain and wind warnings in separate areas.

Environment Canada says freezing rain is expected to begin Monday evening in Meadow Lake then spread eastward through Prince Albert into Nipawin and Hudson Bay overnight. The freezing rain will change to snow overnight or Tuesday morning as a cold front sweeps down from the north. Strong northerly winds behind the cold front will give reduced visibility at times in blowing snow overnight or Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile in the bottom sixth of the province, including Regina, Weyburn, Estevan, Maple Creek, and Assiniboia will see strong winds with gusts to 90 km/h. They are expected to develop overnight or Tuesday morning as a strong cold front sweeps across the region. Some areas will see reduced visibility in blowing snow on Tuesday, as well.
