Battlefords Police have confirmed that an individual who was hit by a truck on Saturday has reported non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim was located in an unrelated vehicle.

Saturday around 4 p.m. Battlefords RCMP were called to the scene on 22nd Street in Battleford where a pedestrian was standing near a truck when the truck hit them.

The victim then got in the same truck, which was later found at a residence on Mosquito, Grizzly Bear’s Head, Lean Man First Nation. No one was inside the vehicle

Officers have also located an individual who was at the scene of the incident.  Battlefords RCMP and Saskatchewan RCMP’s North Battleford Provincial General Investigation Section continue to investigate. Anyone who may have information about the incident is asked to contact Battlefords RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
