Pedestrian-vehicle accident on Circle Drive

Overnight, the Saskatoon Police Service issued an advisory that westbound traffic on Circle Drive between Ave C North and Airport Drive will be restricted while the Collision Analyst Unit investigated an accident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.

The accident happened shortly before midnight in the area of Circle Drive, west of Ave C North.

In a follow-up news release around 4 a.m. this morning police say investigators determined the pedestrian was struck by a westbound vehicle when crossing Circle Drive outside of a crosswalk area.

One man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
