The Woo and Pickford Show lit up the SaskTel Centre scoreboard Friday night as the Medicine Hat Tigers bounced the Saskatoon Blades 9-3.

Jonas Woo struck for two goals and two assists while registering a plus-6 rating while defence partner Bryce Pickford notched the game winning goal, chipped in a helper and was plus-5 to pace the visitors before a crowd of 5,309. The Bridge City Bunch led 3-2 after the first period, but Woo and Pickford were the major orchestrators of seven unanswered goals to finish the game for Medicine Hat, now 15-6-5 for the season. Despite being defencemen, Woo and Pickford are tied for the Tigers’ lead in goal-scoring with 13 each. Beyond Woo and Pickford, forward Kade Stengrim scored twice and blue-liner Josh Van Mulligan had a goal and an assist while only three of the 18 Medicine Hat skaters failed to pick up a point in the lopsided victory. Former Tiger Hayden Harsanyi, along with Cooper Williams and Rowan Calvert replied for the Blue and Gold – now 14-10-2 for the season. The Blades’ next action is Sunday in Edmonton against the Eastern Conference-leading Oil Kings. Game time is 5 o’clock with CJWW’s broadcast beginning at 4:45.
