The Government of Saskatchewan says Brandt Industries was fined after being found guilty in Regina Provincial Court for violating Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
The company was charged after an incident on September 2nd, 2021, in Regina when a worker was seriously injured while operating a forklift.
Brandt Industries was ordered to pay fine and surcharge equaling $55,000 for failing to ensure that only trained operators are required or permitted to operate powered mobile equipment, resulting in the serious injury of a worker.
